Fitness and culture: Siena and water
Your driver will accompany you to Siena where an authorized guide will take you to discover a hidden and more intimate Siena with brief explanations during a trekking route. You will walk up and down the 3 hills of Siena, with a quick step so that you can discover the ancient sources of the city built in medieval times, you will understand its great importance for the survival of the city and the ingenious solutions of the Sienese of the time. The route will also take you to know the “fountains” of the Contrade built between the fifties and seventies, with their fascinating meaning. You will then go to discover some private gardens, which are hidden behind the facades of the ancient buildings of the city and you will explore the green valleys within the walls. The duration of the tour can vary from 2 to 3 hours, comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.
