We will accompany you on the discovery of the lunar landscape of the Crete Senesi, driving along one of the most scenic roads in Italy, before arriving in the Val d’Orcia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. An incredible combination of farms, hills dotted with cypress trees, gardens and vineyards meticulously maintained; historical centers extraordinarily well preserved with architectural wonders of the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance. We will discover Pienza, the city built by Pope Pius II in the 15th century as a utopian Renaissance town and today famous for its cheese, Pecorino di Pienza.
